Dr. Wexler graduated from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1993. He then completed his internship year in Internal Medicine at Montefiore Hospital in Bronx,
N.Y., and then went on to complete his Residency and Chief Residency in Emergency Medicine at Jacobi Hospital in the Bronx.
He served as Assistant Clinical Instructor for Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons while working as the Assistant Residency Director for the St. Luke’s – Roosevelt Emergency Medicine Residency Program. Dr. Wexler then worked for 6 years as the Assistant Director and Quality Director for the Waterbury Hospital Emergency Department in Waterbury, Connecticut.
Dr. Wexler has worked for NES for the past 4.5 years while working as the Medical Director for Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam, Connecticut.
His professional interests are emergency ultrasonography, quality review, and electronic documentation.
